Kayaks are like clothes. Getting the best fit means you have to try them on and try them out. At Pacifica Paddle Sports we want to make sure you will have the best possible paddling experience and that means giving you the opportunity to test drive whenever possible.
Book a session with one of our staff to talk about what you want from your paddling experience. We have many of the boats as part of our rental fleet so you will be able to try them out before you make a commitment.
Recreational Kayaks
Recreational kayaks (sit-ins and sit-on-tops) are affordable, stable, easy to get in and out of, and simple to turn. They’re for flatwater fun or meandering rivers or bays, not for longer trips, waves or open ocean conditions.
Small/Medium Touring Kayaks
Sit-in or "touring kayaks" come in recreational boats, day touring and touring models. They move fast, track straight and have covered cargo compartments, so they’re good for paddling to a destination
Medium/Large Touring Kayaks
Sit-in or "touring kayaks" come in shorter day touring and longer multi-day touring models. They move fast, track straight and have covered cargo compartments, so they’re good for paddling to a destination. These options are for medium - large paddlers.
