Paddleboarding, Breath, and Sound Bath Experience with Fünketown Wellness
We will start with a relaxing one-hour sunset paddle board session in the calm waters of Brentwood Bay led by one of our experienced guides. After your beautiful SUP session, we will then link up and float into our grounding breath for about 45 minutes, then close our session with a 15-minute sound bath. Join us in Collaboration with Fünketown Wellness for a Unique Paddle Boarding Experience
Join us on water for the first offering of this unique experience! We will start with a relaxing one-hour sunset paddle board session in the calm waters of Brentwood Bay led by one of our experienced guides. After your beautiful SUP session we will then link up and float into our grounding breathe for about 45 mins, then close our session with a 15 minutes sound bath. The focus of this class is to help regulate your nervous system through the power of gentle breathwork. An invitation to come back into the body and out of all that mind chatter while floating on the beautiful Pacific Ocean!
We will be exploring a gentle breathing style of slow conscious connected circular breathing, tapping into our Parasympathetic Nervous System. Our rest and digest system, allowing us to get out of fight or flight and into a space of safety and groundedness. This is session will leave you feeling deeply relaxed, regulated, and grounded.
About Catherine

Catherine is a certified Trauma Informed Breathwork Facilitator.Catherine incorporates techniques from BBTRS (Biodynamic Breathwork Trauma Release System) including movement, bodywork and sound.
Catherine Cheong has been in the Wellness world for over a decade.
She is a certified Traditional Hindu Hatha Yoga Teacher, and trauma informed Breathwork Facilitator. She has taught all over the world, in Toronto, Thailand, Bali, Montreal, Costa Rica, Mexico and now currently on beautiful Vancouver Island.
The style of breathwork she teaches is called Conscious Connected Circular breathing. Focusing on resetting the nervous system, letting go of old stories, and aiding in the release of trauma, anxiety and stress.
As a trauma informed facilitator, safety is a top priority for her, and she is most known for holding safe and transformative spaces during her sessions. Catherine is here to remind you of the inner power and strength that resides within you, and that you are your own healer.
New to breathwork? No problem, Catherine will go over everything in class, reminding you that there is no right or wrong way to breathe. Just listen to what feels best for you, remembering you are always in control.
