We value your health and ours, and are diligent in our cleaning efforts, both in the office and on the dock. In light of Covid-19, we want to reassure you that all gear is cleaned between each use, and social distancing is maintained. Our helpful team is adapting our style of service on the dock to respect a greater distance between customers and employees. Please reserve, pay, and fill out the waiver online, so there are fewer common touch points in the office. This also allows you to get on the water faster!
Upon Arrival at the shop:
· Wear a mask in our shop and dock. (Employees also wear masks)
· Please use the hand sanitizer at the front desk
· We limit our shop to 2 groups inside at a time
· If members of your group have already signed the online waiver, ask them to stay outside, and only have one person come into the shop
Tour and Lesson Booking Policy
Payment for tours is required at time of booking. If you are unable to make your tour date/time, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice. You will be given the option to re-schedule your tour for another date in the same calendar year. If we do not receive 48 hours notice of a change or cancellation, the entire tour fee is non-refundable. Refunds will only be given if we are unable to re-schedule or if a tour is cancelled by us due to weather conditions that are deemed unsafe by our guides.
Single and double kayak selection is at the discretion of the guides to follow safety guidelines. Depending on the time of year, weather conditions, participant skill level, and tour group size - couples or pairs may be assigned to a double kayak (kayak tours only). Double kayaks are incredibly stable and a great option for tours, as you have the freedom to take turns paddling while enjoying the scenery, viewing wildlife, and taking pictures.
Lesson Terms: Full payment due at time of booking. Lessons can be refunded or re-booked for another date in the same calendar year with at least 48 hours notice (from customer) or without notice (from Pacifica) if weather conditions are such that we deem them to be unsafe. If we are forced to cancel due to weather, the customer will receive a full refund. In the event of a "no show", there is no refund.
Rental Booking Policy
All paddlers must sign a waiver, releasing Pacifica Paddle Sports from liability. Any damage as a result of negligence or misuse, or any lost gear will be charged to the renter at the full, retail price. All youth ages 16-18 must have waiver/release forms signed by a parent or guardian and rent in groups of at least three unless renting with an adult. Youth between the ages of 6 and 15 may rent single or double kayaks when they are part of a school, club or family group if they have waivers signed by a legal guardian or parent. During rentals, every paddler must wear a personal flotation device when in or on the water. The consumption of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Renters taking equipment off-site with a vehicle must provide photo identification in their own name and pay using their own credit or debit card.

Bad Weather Cancellation
Staff reserve the right to postpone or shorten kayak trips, depending on weather conditions. If a pre-paid rental must be cancelled by the operator, credit will be given to the customer if the rental cannot be rescheduled to accommodate the customer.
Storage Customer Policy
All storage customers have signed an agreement upon the start of their storage contract.
Payment is due at the start of each month, or prepaid for 3 or 6 months. You will have access to your boat at all times, but are highly encouraged to come during business hours. When using your personal boat during busy rental times, you will have access to the launch ramp on a first come, first serve basis, with the rental customers.
