About the event
Sea Kayak Level-1 Skills is a two-day course that moves participants beyond flatwater kayaking and into the sport of sea kayaking.
E-J or Denis, Paddle Canada Certified Instructors, will teach new paddlers all the essential kayak paddling skills, re-entry/ rescue skills, and knowledge topics, such as safety, weather and sea state, navigation and more.
Included: 2 full days of instruction by certified PC instructors, certification upon successful completion.
If needed, Kayak and essential safety gear ( paddle, pfd, pump, throwbag) Wetsuits available for immersion portions of the course.
Please bring: lunches, water and snacks, appropriate clothing for water and air temperatures, drysuit if you have one, change of clothes and a towel.
Location may be split between both Pacifica locations.
