Located in the sheltered waters of Brentwood Bay located 25 minutes from downtown Victoria, Pacifica Paddle Sports offers some of the best Victoria kayak rentals, SUP rentals, canoe rentals and tours and services in the Greater Victoria, Sidney and Saanich communities. The abundant marine life in the bay make this a fascinating place to paddle. You can paddle into Todd Inlet, 20 minutes away, or head over to Senanus Island for a picnic, about 30 minutes away. Mackenzie Bight is a couple of kilometres past Willis Point, just across the bay, or you can push on to Spectacle Falls, a great place to go for a day trip. The water is sheltered and warm - a great combination for lessons. Our qualified, enthusiastic and confident staff will make your paddling experience pleasant and memorable.

Stand Up Paddle Boards have arrived!

We look forward to sharing this Hawaiian style paddling with you!  Brentwood Bay is the ideal location for enjoying time on a stand up paddle board.  We will provide all you need to give this 'walking on water' paddling a try. Until June 30th we are offering specials on Vancouver Island's first Board Yoga classes!  Starting June 4th regular sessions will take place every day in the am, afternoon and evening.  See our events page on Facebook for details.

Have you tried a stand up paddle board before?  If not, come out to our free Demo Days in Brentwood Bay on Saturday, May 26 and at Willows Beach on Saturday, June 2nd at the Oak Bay Tea Party. Qualified yoga instructors and SUP instructors will offer an introduction.

   Sunday Paddle Instructional Tours

May 20 - Spectacle Falls from Brentwood Bay (10 am - 2:30 pm): Leave from Port Side Marina and paddle to Finlayson Arm and south to Spectacle Falls where we will stop for lunch.

 May 27 - Roberts Bay (10:45 am - 3:00 pm): Not far from Roberts Bay are several cluster of island which is where we will explore on this paddle.  Bring your camera as the sea life is abundant.

June 5 - Mayne Island (all day from 6:30 am - 5 pm: This is an opportunity for a full day on the water experiencing some flowing water and taking in the beauty of Bennett Bay.

These trips go to different location each week-end in the Victoria area. Duration is 4 hours, including a lunch stop on a beach. You will learn many practical aspects of paddling on seawater trips as you go, while having a great time with excellent company. Give us a call 250-665-7411 to reserve.
