Located in the sheltered waters of Brentwood Bay, Pacifica Paddle Sports offers the best in canoe and kayak rentals and tours. The abundant marine life in the bay make this a fascinating place to paddle. The water is sheltered and warm a great combination for lessons. Our qualified, enthusiastic and confident staff will make your paddling experience pleasant and memorable.

Sunday Paddle:

July 25 at 9:45 am from Island View Beach

Island View Beach at the end of Island View Road is our starting point for an exploration of James Island.

August 1 at 9:45 am from Roberts Bay

Putting in at Roberts Bay, at the end of Ardwell Avenue in Sidney, our destination will be Brethour, Domville, and Forrest Islands.

Day Tours:

August 8 – Mayne Island Day Trip

Launching from Bennet Bay on Mayne Island, we will be exploring the west channels down to Winter Cove. This excursion requires taking the BC Ferry at 6:25 am from Swartz Bay to Mayne Island, returning at 4:20 pm, arriving Swartz Bay at 6:05 pm.

Kayak Lessons:

Come learn the skills you need to paddle with confidence in open waters by joining in our training sessions at Pacifica Paddle Sports in Brentwood Bay. Register for a course covering basic strokes, safety and rescue, bracing and edging, or rolling. Private and group lessons can be arranged on a daily basis.
